ENGLISH Christine 's Career : As a sportwoman and top-ranking swimmer, Christine launched her career by conquering the many pools of our beautiful France. She then devoted her studies to Biology, which enabled her to discover the many aspects of Fauna surrounding us. After exploring Ocean depths during fascinating diving expeditions, she discovered Sologne in 2006, where she set out to re-visit and share the world with us as a wildlife photographer. Ar present, the animal is speaking to her, dwells in her and guides her in order to appear and start moving between her fingers. Swept away by a wind of Creative Folly, she has worked ever since without safety net, directly applying her coatings and freehand painting. Then, as if through magic, on the first touches, both fluid and fast, water blends gently with pigments to engender Life. Her Technique on Relief Canvas Somethimes everything goes wild. Animals can spring out of the paintings, and the least fearful ones even join the Visitors to better communicate with them. The Relief on coarse linen Canvas brings a new and personal touch to Christine's figurative painting. First one, she has to imagine the shapes of the subject, then apply on the tight support a surprising and captivating thickness, made from resin and various natural additives. Once everything has dried, one just has to play with the flaws of the support, adding colour and then life to do it. Thus, the Animal comes forward to meet its Public, well beyond the Canvas Dynamics sculptures Christine's Sculptures offer a wide variety of movements and attitudes, while expressing the Vitality, Sensual Delight, Strength and Energy of each character. Sculptures, be it classical or monumental - weighting more than 60 kilos - terra-cotta or bronze, enables her to reveal the dynamism of the movements... The coarse touches on the matter bring out their natural power.
